Our ministry
Faith at the center.
Skills for the whole of life.
Helping congregations nurture boys who serve the Lord in their families, churches, and communities.
Why Lutheran Pioneers?
The ministry supports a congregation’s pastor and leaders with materials and training. Devotions and practical activities help preteen and adolescent boys learn the gospel, follow Christ’s commands, and serve others.
What boys learn
Useful modern and traditional skills, care for God’s creation, leadership, Christian fellowship, and service to others. The program encourages continued church involvement into adulthood.
Why we call our groups Trains
Chartered congregations receive a permanent Train number. A congregation restarting its program keeps its original number. Train fees support organizational expenses, including insurance, software, hosting, and postage.
The organization states that it has no employees and no physical location.
